Salomon Brothers World Equity Index (SBWEI)
A top-down, float capitalization-weighted index used to measure the performance of fixed-income and equity markets. It includes approximately 6000 companies in 22 countries.

Salomon Brothers World Equity Index
An index that tracks both debt securities and stocks in publicly-traded companies worldwide where the total number of shares available for trade in each company is worth at least $100 million. Each company in the index is weighted according to the total value of its shares available for trade. The Salomon Brothers World Equity Index tracks more than 6,000 companies in 22 countries.
