SWX Group

SWX Group
A holding company for exchanges and financial companies. It is primarily known for owning the Swiss Exchange; it also holds partial ownership in a number of other exchanges, including EUREX and STOXX. It was founded in 2001.

Hunziker had served as chairman of the SWX group since December 2000 and as CEO of the pan-European blue chip market, virt-x, since February 2001.
Peter Gomez, Chairman SWX Group and Chairman Eurex, said: "SWX Group is extremely pleased to be opening another chapter in Eurex's success story along with our partner Deutsche Borse.
