Societe d'Investissement A Capital Variable
An actively-managed investment company in Europe in which the amount of capital is dependent on the number of shareholders in the SICAV. It is structured much like a mutual fund in the United States and is a very common investment vehicle in Luxembourg, France, and Italy.
