Rural Route
In the United States, a mail route outside the city or township limits in a rural area. The U.S. Postal Service must deliver mail regardless of where one lives.

Moody has been in the position since January, managing three rural routes, consisting of eight employees who make more than 1,600 deliveries and service 300 post office boxes each day.
The necessity for vegetation control along rural routes will likely remain for future counterinsurgency operations and theaters of conflict.
The rural route runs for 14 miles throughout the Mark Trail Wilderness, a 16,000 acre preservation area teeming with wildlife, streams and mountains that's within the Chattahoochee National Forest.
