Run of Schedule

In broadcast advertising, the broadcaster's ability to place an ad anywhere space or time allows. While the broadcaster may attempt to run the ad during the advertiser's preferred time, run of the schedule gives the publisher schedule leeway, depending on the availability of time. However, less favorable times often provide better rates. It is also called run of station. See also: Run of paper.
