Run of Paper In newspaper advertising, the publisher's ability to place an ad anywhere space allows. While the paper may attempt to put the ad in the advertiser's preferred space, run of the paper gives the publisher significant leeway, depending on the availability of column space. It is also called run of press. See also: Run of schedule. Want to thank TFD for its existence?
