Quota 90 The 1927 peg of the Italian lira to the British pound instituted by Benito Mussolini. Quota 90 came out of a desire on the part of Italian economists to revalue the lira, but the rate (92.46 lira to one pound) was considered too low, overvaluing the lira. This led to increased unemployment and a decline in real wages. Want to thank TFD for its existence?
