Portfolio Transaction Costs

    0.01 sec.
Portfolio transaction costs
The expenses associated with buying and selling securities, including commissions, purchase and redemption fees, exchange fees, and other miscellaneous costs. In a mutual fund prospectus, these expenses are listed separately from the fund's expense ratio.

Portfolio Transaction Costs
Miscellaneous fees associated with the trade of securities. These fees include commissions, exchange fees, early redemption fees, and anything else not directly related to the price of the security. Under SEC rules, mutual funds and closed-end funds must disclose their commissions both as a dollar amount and as an expression of cents per share, but this disclosure is separate from any other transaction costs.
