Personal Finance

Also found in: Wikipedia 0.01 sec.
Personal Finance
The process of determining a person's financial needs or goals for the future and how to achieve them. Personal finance involves deciding what investments would be most appropriate under both personal and broader economic circumstances. All things being equal, short-term personal financial planning involves less uncertainty than long-term because, generally speaking, it is easier to predict one's future income. Personal finance considers future income like pensions and expenditures such as education or child support.
