Pacific Economic Cooperation Council Also called the PECC. An informal group that seeks to promote economic and other cooperation between countries that border the Pacific Ocean. There are member countries on both sides of the Pacific, in North and South America as well as Asia and Oceania. The PECC holds a conference every two years in which business and government leaders discuss matters of mutual interest. It was founded in 1980. Want to thank TFD for its existence?
