The two-character ISO 3166 country code for FRENCH POLYNESIA.

1. ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 code for French Polynesia. This is the code used in international transactions to and from French Polynesian bank accounts.

2. ISO 3166-2 geocode for French Polynesia. This is used as an international standard for shipping to French Polynesia.

Used in stock transaction tables in newspapers to indicate the stock is a preferred issue. Issues without any designation are common stock. A capital letter (that is, an A, B, or C) beside pf indicates the particular issue of preferred listed: GaPc pfC2.24.
