OTB

Overseas Trust Bank. A bank in Hong Kong that was, at one time, one of the largest in the country. In 1985, it suddenly collapsed due to bad debt, much of which was caused by criminal misdealing among its senior management. The day following the announcement, the Hong Kong government nationalized OTB. It has since been sold a number of times.
