Or better
Used in the context of general equities. Indication on the order ticket of a limit order to buy or sell securities at a price better than the specified limit price if a better price can be obtained. Does not imply a not-held order, but rather puts more emphasis on executing at the limit if available.

Or Better
The limit price in a limit order. That is, when making an OB order, the investor states that he/she wants to buy or sell at a given price or a better one if it is available.

or better (OB)
Used as a designation on a limit order ticket to indicate that the limit, in the case of a buy order, is higher than the market price, and, in the case of a sell order, is lower than the market price.
