Optional payment bond

A bond whose principal and/or interest may be paid in foreign or domestic currency at the discretion of the bondholder.

A bond for which principal and/or interest payments may be made in one of two or more currencies. The bondholder has the discretion to choose the currency in which he/she wishes to receive payments.
