A mutual fund that buys and sells options for aggressive or conservative investment.

Option Mutual Fund

A mutual fund that invests primarily or exclusively in option contracts and/or engages in option strategies. Option mutual funds can carry greater or lesser risk. For example, an option fund where the primary strategy is to write covered calls is likely to carry much less risk than a fund that uses other, more complex option positions.
