Nordic Investment Bank

A financial institution established by the governments of Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden in 1975. It provides loans and similar funding to projects promoting sustainable development in member countries and in emerging markets, including the Middle East and Africa. In addition to its founding governments, members include Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
