Nondurable Goods
Consumer products designed and intended to last less than three years. Some examples of nondurable merchandise, such as designer clothes, are expensive, while others, such as microwaveable pizza or cat food, are not. Companies that produce nondurable merchandise may be less volatile than those that produce durable goods, as consumers must return to buy more on a fairly regular basis.
