The currency of New Brunswick between 1860 and 1867. The dollar was equal in value to the Canadian dollar (at that time, Canada and New Brunswick were separate jurisdictions). The Canadian dollar replaced the New Brunswick dollar at par when New Brunswick joined the newly-formed Canadian Confederation.
