Nano Cap

    0.01 sec.
Nano Cap
Describing a publicly-traded company with an extremely low amount of market capitalization. In general, a nano-cap company has a market capitalization of less than $50 million, but there is no specific definition. Some brokerages or exchanges have slightly different definitions of nano-cap. Nano-cap describes the smallest possible amount of market capitalization, and, for this reason, nano-cap stocks are quite risky. See also: High-cap, Mid-cap, Low-cap, Micro-cap.
