National Association of Manufacturers
An organization for large and small manufacturers in the United States, regardless of industry. It serves as a lobbying group for manufacturers before the U.S. government. It also has an affiliated think tank that conducts research on the manufacturing industry. It was founded in 1895 and maintains its headquarters in Washington, D.C.

Sharm el-Sheikh, July 16, 2009 (Frontier Star) -- NAM countries on Thursday vowed to combat terrorism in all its forms and manifestations while making it clear that terror should not be associated with any religion, nationality, civilisation or ethnic group.
amp;nbsp;Libyan leader Moamer Kadhafi blasted the United Nations Security Council as a form of "terrorism" in a speech and accused it of harming NAM member states.
The document and declaration of the summit--the main theme of which is "international solidarity for peace and development"--included the "vision of the NAM states in the coming stage and their assessment of democracy, human rights, the credit crunch, human trafficking, the Middle East conflict, and the Palestinian cause.
