NYSE Group A corporation that owned the New York Stock Exchange and a few other exchanges in the United States. It was formed in 2006 as the result of a merger between the NYSE and the Archipelago Exchange. The following year, the NYSE Group merged with Euronext to form NYSE Euronext.
