NASDAQ small capitalization companies are those that do not meet the requirements to be listed on the NASDAQ National Market. Specifically, these companies: do not meet the minimum requirements for net tangible assets or operating income, have fewer than 500,000 shares and 400 stockholders, or do not meet the minimum bid price of $5 per share.
