National Association of Federal Credit Unions
An organization for federally-chartered credit unions in the United States. It serves as a lobbying group for credit unions before the U.S. government and conducts public relations to promote credit unions to the public. It was founded in 1967 and maintains its headquarters in Arlington, Virginia.

But in its comment letter, NAFCU expressed support for stronger notification requirements and cited the lack of disclosure found in 37% of locations where the Government Accountability Office made unannounced visits.
NAFCU is the only national organization that focuses exclusively on issues affecting federal credit unions, representing its members before the federal government and the public.
That's why the political action committees of CUNA and NAFCU each gave money in September to the campaign coffers of both men.
