Money Zero Maturity

A measure of money supply that includes only money ready to be used and spent. One calculates the MZM by taking the M2 measure of money supply, subtracting time deposits (like certificates of deposit) and adding money market funds. Some analysts use the MZM to measure money supply because it is a very liquid measure.
