Money rate of return
Annual money return as a percentage of asset value.
Money Rate of Return
The return on an investment over and above the inflation rate. For example, if the inflation rate is 3% and the return on an investment is 5%, the money rate of return is only 2%. Investors must consider the money rate of return in order to make gains even in times of high inflation. See also: Real return.
