Molotov Cocktail

An explosive consisting of a flammable liquid like gasoline or alcohol contained in a glass bottle. One ignites the cocktail with a makeshift wick placed in the bottle. Molotov cocktails are used when hand grenades or other "formal" weapons are unavailable or unaffordable. For that reason, they may be used in terrorist or paramilitary activities.
