The simulated trading of securities used as a learning device in training investors and broker.

Mock Trading
A computer simulation of trade used in training brokers and investment managers. Different companies offer mock trading programs at different price ranges, but a few companies offer mock trading programs for free over the Internet, much like a computer game. Most programs are fairly realistic, tracking markets and simulating trade at current prices. Different programs concentrate on specific markets. For example, mock trading programs have been developed for the foreign exchange and commodity markets.
