Market Perform
A recommendation by an analyst to neither buy nor sell a security. An analyst makes a market perform recommendation when technical and/or fundamental indicators show middling performance by a security. The term indicates that the security is likely to perform neither better nor worse than the market as a whole. It is also called a neutral or hold recommendation.
