Words like dakwa, gereba, hiba, jauza, kahwa, marhala, maskhara, menara, and mesara (allowance) could actually be considered to be 'normal', because they conform to the original pronunciation in Arabic, in which the ta' marbutah is not pronounced ah, whereas the majority of so-called 'normal' words (ending with a ta' marbutah pronounced -ah) should theoretically be considered to be exceptions.
