Making a Line

    0.04 sec.
making a line
In technical analysis, movement of a stock price in such a way that it traces a relatively thick line across a graph. The thickness of the line is determined by the size of the upward and downward price movements. A breakout from the line in an upward direction is bullish and a breakout in a downward direction is bearish.

Making a Line
In technical analysis, a situation in which the price of a security moves up and down slightly but generally maintains equilibrium. This makes a chart of the security's price look roughly like a straight line. If the price breaks away from the line and goes downward, this is a bearish indicator. On the other hand, if the price breaks upward, this is a bullish indicator.
