The ISO 4217 currency code for the Mozambique Metical.

MZM

ISO 4217 code for the first Mozambican metical. It was introduced in 1980, replacing the Mozambican escudo. It suffered from hyperinflation for most of its history and was, for a time, the least valuable currency in the world. It was replaced by the second metical (code MZN) in 2006.
