Morgan Stanley Capital International Index

Any of several indices managed and published by Morgan Stanley Capital International (MSCI). Some Morgan Stanley Capital International indices are considered benchmarks of global equity performance. Perhaps the best known indices are the MSCI World Index and the MSCI EAFE Index. Because MSCI's majority shareholder is Morgan Stanley, some Morgan Stanley products, notably iShares, track Morgan Stanley Capital International indices.
