MSCI EM EMEA Index

An index published by Morgan Stanley Capital International (MSCI) that tracks stocks in eight developing countries in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Countries with stocks tracked by the index include the Czech Republic, Egypt and South Africa. As with all MSCI indices, it is weighted for market capitalization.

As of May 2005, the MSCI EM EMEA Index consisted of the following 10 emerging market country indices: Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Russia, Turkey, Israel, Jordan, Egypt, Morocco and South Africa.
