Mano River Union

Mano River Union
An international organization to encourage economic cooperation in parts of West Africa. It was established in 1973 but was dormant for much of its history because of political instability in the region. In 2004, however, it became active again. As of 2008, the Mano River Union consisted of Cote d'Ivoire, Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone.
