| INTERNATIONAL FINANCE CORPORATION (IFC), the private-sector lending arm of the World Bank, has agreed to provide up to US$30 million in long-term financing to Grupo Financiero Uno, a Central American financial institution. Proceeds from the offering will be used to provide long-term financing of mortgage loans originated by MortgageIT Holdings' taxable REIT subsidiary. The company says it will obtain new long-term financing to support its operations and financial obligations. |
