Lady Macbeth Strategy
Strategy in which a third party poses as a white knight in a takeover bid, and then joins forces with an unfriendly bidder.

Lady Macbeth Strategy
In a hostile takeover, a strategy in which a company poses as an ally of the takeover target, but ultimately joins the bidders. The erstwhile ally may use a Lady Macbeth strategy in order to gain information about the takeover target.
