The ISO 4217 currency code for the Libyan Dinar.

LYD

ISO 4217 code for the Libyan dinar. It was issued in 1971, replacing the Libyan pound. It is colloquially called a jni in Western Libya or a jneh in Eastern Libya. The official name is rarely used in daily transactions.
