Croatian Kuna The currency of Croatia. First issued in 1939 while Croatia was part of Yugoslavia, it was originally pegged at a dual exchange rate to the German reichsmark. Pulled from circulation in 1945, the kuna was reintroduced in 1994, replacing the Yugoslav dinar. The new kruna was introduced at an exchange rate of 1 kruna per 1,000 dinars; it is a floating currency. Want to thank TFD for its existence?
