1. ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 code for the Republic of Korea (South Korea). This is the code used in international transactions to and from South Korean bank accounts.

2. ISO 3166-2 geocode for South Korea. This is used as an international standard for shipping to South Korea. Each province and metropolitan has its own code with the prefix "KR." For example, the code for the City of Seoul is ISO 3166-2:KR-11.
