Joint Endorsement A requirement by a bank that both holders of a joint account endorse a check before it can be cashed. Not all checks on joint accounts require joint endorsements, and different banks have different regulations. Joint endorsements exist to keep one party to an account from conducting certain transactions without the knowledge or consent of the other. Want to thank TFD for its existence?
