John Rusnak
A former currency trader who attempted to hide nearly $700 million in losses that he incurred. In 2003, he was sentenced to seven and a half years in prison for bank fraud. He served six years combined in prison and house arrest.

AIB also faced multi-million losses because of the activities of rogue trader John Rusnak - jailed for seven years - at their former Allfirst American subsidiary company, in Baltimore, Maryland.
AIB group chairman Lochlann Quinn said: "Let's face it, we missed it," as six executives were sacked for failing to notice the activities of Baltimore trader John Rusnak.
The bank has mounted a joint effort with their customers to raise money for various charities, just days after foreign exchange trader John Rusnak was implicated in the fraud at an American subsidiary of the bank.
