Job Project-Performance Cost Variance

    0.01 sec.
Job Project-Performance Cost Variance
In accounting, the difference between the budgeted and the actual costs a construction company incurs on a project. The variance may be divided into costs due to prices (that is, if materials are unexpectedly more or less expensive) and due to efficiency (for instance, if there is a work stoppage because of inclement weather or extra time needed to receive zoning permits).
