Job Lot

In commodities, a small number of units. For example, one may refer to 10 or 20 barrels of oil as a job lot. These are used primarily in futures contracts in which both parties are interested in trading in small numbers.

job lot

In commodities trading, the quantity of a commodity that is smaller than what is specified in a standard contract.
