Job Hunting Expenses

    0.01 sec.
Job Hunting Expenses
Money that one spends in the course of attempting to find a new job. In the United States, one may deduct job hunting expenses from one's taxable income, regardless of whether one actually finds a new job. This deduction is subject to certain restrictions. Specifically, the job for which one is looking must be in the same field as one's previous job, and expenses are not deductible if it is one's first job after finishing education.
