Investment Climate
The situation in which an investment is made. Factors affecting the investment climate include macroeconomic considerations, the political situation, and consumer confidence. The investment climate is a significant contributing factor in the performance of an investment. A strong investment climate can help spur investments toward growth, while a weak climate can do the opposite. It should be noted that an investment climate may be beneficial for some investments and detrimental to others.
