International Center for Theoretical Physics Also called the ICTP. A research organization in Italy. Its members study mathematics and physics, especially in order to encourage progress in developing countries. The ICTP conducts research into applied physics, condensed matter and statistical physics, high energy, cosmology and astroparticle physics, and mathematics.
