International Association of Financial Engineers A professional organization for persons who engage in financial engineering, which is broadly defined as the study of financial theory and mathematical and computer applications of the same. The IAFE was established in 1992 and consists of academics and market practitioners worldwide. Among other activities, it holds educational events, provides a venue for the discussion of research, and holds networking opportunities for members.
