Secretary of the Interior
The head of the U.S. federal government department charged with overseeing national parks and most other land owned by the federal government. The secretary is also responsible for conserving wildlife and managing U.S. relations with Native Americans. He or she is appointed by the president of the United States and confirmed by the Senate.
