Institutional Brokers' Estimate System (IBES) Service that assembles analysts' estimates of future earnings for thousands of publicly traded companies, detailing how many estimates are available for each company and the high, low, and average estimates for each. Institutional Brokers' Estimate System A database established by the Lynch, Jones, and Ryan brokerage that compiles different analysts' at different brokerages forecasts on future earnings for many different publicly-traded companies. The IBES allows users to look at the high, low, and average predictions as well as see individual analysts' predictions.
