The practice of an investment bank setting aside portions of a corporation's Initial Public Offering for senior management of that corporation.

Initial Public Offering Spinning
The act or practice of a brokerage offering a portion of a company's IPO to the senior executives of a third party company in exchange for attracting that company's business to the brokerage. This is a relatively common way for brokerages to attract new clients. It is also simply called spinning.
